Streami Virtual School (SVS)
Streami Virtual School (SVS) is the First Virtual School in India and the world's first Techno-Legal Virtual School, dedicated to developing essential techno-legal skills among school students.
Launched in 2019 by PTLB Schools, a project of Perry4Law Techno Legal Base (PTLB), SVS focuses on empowering children to navigate online dangers through education in cyber law, cyber security, and emerging technologies.
The school's mission emphasises teaching students how to combat online criminals, report threats, manage harassment, and address mental and physical health impacts legally and healthily, with plans for global expansion.
History
SVS traces its roots to Perry4Law Organisation (P4LO) and PTLB, both established in 2002 by Praveen Dalal, who has been pioneering online education in India since 2007.
PTLB introduced virtual schools and campuses as part of its K12 to lifelong learning initiatives, culminating in SVS's launch in 2019 as India's inaugural virtual school.
The dedicated main website went live on March 8, 2021, marking a milestone in techno-legal virtual education.
Recognition applications were submitted to the central (BJP) and Delhi (AAP) governments in March 2021, though they remain pending as of 2025.
SVS's model has inspired government virtual school programs, including BJP's in August 2021 and AAP's in August 2022.
In 2025, SVS continues to rejuvenate its courses, integrating advanced digital infrastructure for global access through its E-Learning Portal.
Programs and Curriculum
SVS offers specialized programs in techno-legal skills development, targeting K12 students worldwide.
The flagship Cyber Law Course, created in 2019 and regularly updated, equips students with practical knowledge to handle online threats, report crimes, and manage cyber bullying.
Core subjects include cyber security, cyber forensics, e-discovery, cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, quantum computing, and coding.
The online training portal provides interactive virtual sessions for skills enhancement, with certifications upon completion.
Programs emphasise maturity in online risk management, yielding positive outcomes like increased student capability in digital safety.
Unique Features
As the exclusive worldwide school teaching cyber law to school students, SVS stands out for its virtual model supported by two decades of P4LO and PTLB expertise.
It features a virtual art gallery showcasing student artwork themed around techno-legal concepts, fostering creativity in education.
The WordPress blog disseminates awareness on topics like India's cyber security vulnerabilities, healthcare ransomware threats, and domicile laws under the Indian Succession Act, 1925, with six posts from 2022 highlighting national security reforms.
SVS maintains a YouTube channel for educational videos on cyber law, AI, and space law, promoting skills development.
The dedicated forum, part of the ODR India platform established in 2004, facilitates discussions on techno-legal issues, though currently under development for enhanced engagement.
SVS invites selective global investments on a non-stake basis and seeks collaborations aligned with its goals.
Impact and Recognition
SVS is a recognised EduTech Startup by MeitY Startup Hub (MSH).
SVS has achieved milestones such as developing India's first cyber law course for school students and influencing national virtual education policies.
Its curriculum addresses critical gaps in cyber security awareness, as evidenced by historical warnings from 2014 on government shortcomings.
